Happy Birthday my friend Darlene.....

Happy 50th Birthday to my friend
Darlene. We have been friends for many years and many more to come.
You look great!
More great friends, the Hansen Family. We met Larry and Kathy when Larry was Josh's soccer coach about 8 years ago. We lost touch for awhile then reconnected when they won the bid on one of my donated gift certificates at a Redwood High Football Booster dinner. We have been hangin out ever since. I have taken both Tyler and Eric's senior portraits.
In this top image we added Josh in.
Left to right: my Josh, Hansen boys -
Eric, Tyler and Alex. Tyler is finishing up at UOP Pharmacy school and Eric is currently at Annapolis, Alex is a junior at Redwood High. We took these portraits Christmas day as the Hansen family and Kathy's mom spent Christmas dinner with us.

Friends.....

My very dear and long time friends, Karen and Jim Hurlbutt with daughter Lauren. Karen and I met when she was working with the Visalia Chamber of Commerce. When she and Jim were married I was a bridesmaid in the wedding. We have been through many experiences and it has been fun to watch Lauren grow into a beautiful and talented young women. She will be graduating from UCLA this year. Rick and I look forward to many more years of friendship.

Audino family's big wedding year of 2008.....

Jo and Russ Audino pictured here in Cambria with their cute dog had not one but two life changing occasions in 2008 as both their daughters were married. Rachel and Scott were married in July. They are shown here in the black & white images. Jessica and Brian were married in November. Both were married in St. Mary's and had their receptions at the Country Club. Each wedding was unique to the personality of the couples. I took Scott and Rachel all over town for very different locations such as the parking garage, laying on the grass at the country club and at local historical architecture. Brian and Jessica were featured in more traditional settings. I enjoyed working with both. And now Jo and I have become email pals. We enjoy sharing stories current and past and decided if we would have went to the same high school we would have hung out. I look forward to keeping in touch with her through the years to come.

My friend Aimee.....

Here is my friend Aimee with her daughter Payton in Cambria. I photographed Aimee's wedding and we have remained friends ever since. I have been photographing Payton until Aimee decided to launch her own photography business.

The possum....

Our dogs Buddy and Sasha loved to bring these animals into the yard from the orchard almost daily. And yes they do actually play possum. We would think it was dead and then all of sudden it would be gone. We saw them mainly in the fall. I believe they must hibernate in the winter as we have not seen one in awhile.

More end of 2008 families and kids.....

The entire Moons family out on the ranch; the Jones family at the parent's home in Hanford, the Dixon family have a romp in the walnuts.

The Giles family at our barn, the Watson family all in white at our ranch, Travis and Monica with their new little one.

Jennifer and Noah with Jennifer's children in the olive grove, the Conley family in our barn, Miss Keiser in the studio, Whitfield family in our barn, the McPhetridge family out at the barn.

The Scheer kids out in the back at my studio, Little Miss Garza on a duck chase at Plaza park and my long time clients and dear friends the Swall family at their orchard. First we photographed the nice family poses and then the girls had a great time running wild in the walnut orchard which you can see was being irrigated. Ah to be young and carefree. And women pay big money for these mud baths.
